Accessibility Statement

The Swedest Thing is committed to making our website, swedestthing.com, usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnifiers, voice control or other assistive technology. Swedish candy is for everyone, and so is our shop.

The standard we are working toward

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These are the widely used international guidelines for accessible web content.

We are a small team and our work is ongoing. We do not claim that every page fully meets this standard today. Parts of the site, including content supplied by third-party apps and services (for example reviews, payment and checkout tools), may not yet meet it. We review and improve the site regularly.

Tell us about a problem

If something on our site is hard or impossible for you to use, please let us know. We want to fix it.

It helps us if you tell us:

  • the page or the web address (URL) where you had the problem,
  • what you were trying to do and what happened instead,
  • the device, browser and any assistive technology you use (optional).

We read every message and aim to reply within 5 business days. If you cannot use part of the site, tell us and we will help you complete your order another way.
